The semester ended yesterday. Our students have started to going home. I always find this a hard time.
Students often ask, "Don't you get tired of meeting new students and then saying goodbye?" Yes, and no. Yes, I wish that we wouldn't have to keep saying goodbye to people who have been a big part of our lives for the time that they spend here. And no, I am not tired of meeting new students. Every student is special. Every single one enriches my life in some way. They challenge me to grow and change, and to let Christ work through me. It is a blessing to be in ministry with 18 to 20-something year-olds!
