We have been praying and pursuing a change in school for the girls for some time now. Finally a door has been opened (thanks to our friends) to attend a school that is closer to home and a bit more affordable. It also has a stronger phonics-based curriculum, among other benefits.
Our girls are having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the idea. They have good friends at their old school and are well-known and loved. They will be switching in the middle of the school year.
I am asking for prayers for them as they start in their new school on Monday, May 24. I pray it will be a smooth transition and that they would quickly find a community of friends and feel at home.
